WHISTLER HIKING GUIDE

This guidebook is an excellent reference for the fantastic hiking trails in the vicinity of the world-famous resort of Whistler, British Columbia. Whistler Hiking Guide is authored by Brian Finestone and Kevin Hodder, two well-informed valley locals, and is full colour throughout. 

The book utilizes dozens of excellent topographical maps to make way-finding as easy as possible. Each trail also contains a selection of beautiful photographs to provide the reader with a sense of each hike's character before setting out. Additionally, the book contains an excellent wildflower identification chapter specific to the flora of the Whistler area. The geographical area covered in the book extends north from the Squamish Chief, through the Whistler valley, and terminates at the scenic Joffre Lakes. A selection of Whistler village walks are also outlined to ensure there is a outing for all Whistler visitors.
