UTAH
ROCK CLIMBING GALLERY
The
state of Utah is home to an incredible variety of rock climbing
venues and one could spend years trying to explore them all.
The photographs in the following gallery were taken during a
short trip to the sandstone areas around Moab. The first
group of images features Indian Creek, the undisputed crack
climbing capitol of the world. Nowhere else is home to
such unforgiving splitters, demanding versatility in many different
jamming techniques. The second group of photos comes from
Castle Valley, home to the famous Castleton Tower and the amazing
desert spires and mesas that surround it. Finally, the
last group of photos resulted from a single blustery day in
the boulders of Ibex, Utah; located far from pretty much anything.
For rock climbers, Utah is an amazing state worth many trips
of exploration. |
